It is because of YOU that the OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon has grown to be the biggest and best celebration of the healthy, active lifestyle in the Midwest. Whether you completed your first 5K or earned a half marathon PR, thank you for joining us these past 20 years.

I am humbled and honored to the be the event's Race Director for all 20 years and to celebrate each of you at the Finish Line.

Over the past 20 years, it has been our mission to celebrate YOU with a world-class tour of Columbus, one-of-a-kind course entertainment with the PNC Power Stations, a fantastic Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party & PNC Post-Race Concert and all the elements that make this event a remarkable CELEBRATION of the healthy, active lifestyle for YOU, our partners and the community.

This CELEBRATION of YOU is possible thanks to all of our partners including our world-class title partner, OhioHealth, who shares our passion of the healthy, active lifestyle. The OhioHealth medical team, led by Dr. Ben Bring, is the best in the business, and they are your partner to get you to the start and finish line. We are proud to have the OhioHealth Foundation as the Official Benefiting Charity of the race once again.

Over these next few months, we will be sharing with you the history of the race, stories of participants who have completed all 20 races, and tips to take to your training to the next level - all in preparation for the 20th Anniversary and our biggest celebration yet.

Today, we are excited to share with you this one-of-a-kind 20th Anniversary celebration medal for all finishers and announce some new race features:

There will be even more on-course celebration zones because YOU are the star of the show. North to Nashville will headline the PNC Post-Race Concert.

We are expanding the Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party to include more non-alcohol drink options from Athletic Brewing and G&J Pepsi along with our signature celebration options from White Claw Hard Seltzer, Teremana Margaritas, Campo Viejo and YOUR own beer from Land Grant Brewing.

Thank you for all your support and participation over the years. This has truly become YOUR event in YOUR city that welcomes visitors from many other countries.
