An estimated 12,000 runners and walkers will converge on Downtown Columbus and surrounding neighborhoods on Saturday, April 29 as the OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon celebrates its 20^th Anniversary.

Thousands of runners and walkers took a tour of the new Grandview Yard entertainment district and downtown Columbus during the inaugural OhioHealth Grandview Yard Quarter Marathon & 5K. 

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The OhioHealth Grandview Yard Quarter Marathon & 5K will debut on Aug. 28 when the running and walking event showcases the new Grandview Yard district.

The event, which will feature up to 2,000 runners and walkers will start and finish at Ray E. DeGraw Park in Grandview Yard and take runners and walkers on a tour of Grandview Yard, Grandview Heights and downtown Columbus.

Land-Grant Brewing Company, a Columbus-based brewery with a strong love and dedication to local sports, has again produced a limited-release custom craft beer to celebrate the 2022 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon.

13.1 Recovery Haze Pale Ale will be released at Land-Grant’s taproom in late March and be available in cans exclusively in most Giant Eagle stores in Central Ohio in late March and April. 13.1 Recovery Haze Pale Ale is a fruity, citrus and bright tasting ale brewed with electrolyte to create an ideal celebratory post-race beverage that is easy-drinking and refreshing.
