Columbus, Ohio — The cold didn’t stand a chance against the passion of Blue Jackets fans and fitness enthusiasts alike. Despite the chilly temperatures, more than 4,000 runners and walkers showed up for the 2026 5th Line 5K presented by OhioHealth, turning out in full force to celebrate fitness, community and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Participants of all ages took a 3.1-mile tour of downtown Columbus before an epic Finish on Center Ice inside Nationwide Arena. Each registered participant received an official event shirt and commemorative finisher medal, along with two tickets to an upcoming Columbus Blue Jackets home game.
Following the finish, participants enjoyed a post-race party inside the arena featuring water and Gatorade, Jet's Pizza and a variety of Blue Jacket interactive activities throughout Nationwide Arena, creating a celebratory atmosphere that extended well beyond the race itself.
The event was made possible through the continued support of our partners, led by OhioHealth, the event’s title sponsor since the 5th Line 5K began 11 years ago. Additional thanks go to NBC4, Ohio Beef Council and 93.3 The Bus for their ongoing support.
The 2026 5th Line 5K once again highlighted the power of sport, wellness and community, bringing thousands together for an experience that celebrated both healthy lifestyles and Blue Jackets pride—no matter the temperature.
