Race Crew Code of Ethics

At M3S Sports, our Race Crew helps create the positive, welcoming, and high-energy experience our participants know and love. From the first athlete at the Start Line to the final Finish Line Celebration, these remarkable experiences happen because of you.

Quite simply — we could not do this without you.

Every Race Crew member plays an important role in creating world-class celebrations of the healthy, active lifestyle, and we are incredibly appreciative of the time, energy, and passion you bring to our events.

As a member of the M3S Race Crew, we ask that you:

  • Be positive, encouraging, and respectful to participants, spectators, fellow volunteers, and staff
  • Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for athletes and guests of all abilities and experience levels
  • Wear your official M3S Race Crew gear during your volunteer assignment whenever possible
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled assignment time to allow for check-in, instructions, and preparation
  • Be present, engaged, and ready to bring great energy to race day
  • Communicate with the M3S team if an issue arises that impacts your ability to attend your shift
  • Represent M3S Sports in a professional and supportive manner both in-person and online

Commitment Matters

Our events rely heavily on the commitment of our Race Crew. When volunteers arrive prepared and on time, it helps us create the safe, organized, and memorable experience our participants expect.

A volunteer “no call, no show” creates challenges for event operations, participant experience, and fellow volunteers who depend on one another throughout race weekend.

Volunteers who do not show up for a scheduled assignment without notifying the M3S team may result in:

  • Removal from future volunteer assignments
  • Loss of complimentary race entry eligibility
  • A temporary suspension of race and volunteer privileges for up to 30 days

If you are unable to attend your assignment, please contact the M3S team as soon as possible at:

Thank You

Thank you for being part of the M3S Race Crew and helping us create experiences that thousands of runners, walkers, families, and spectators look forward to each year.

We truly cannot wait to see you out there.
