Welcome to the Oktoberfest Meiler Vier!
The Oktoberfest Meiler Vier is a four-mile run that traditionally kicks off the Columbus Oktoberfest Festival. The 2024 Oktoberfest Meiler Vier will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at 6:15 p.m.
All participants will receive a complimentary beer (craft beer excluded), a complimentary sausage and FREE parking* at the 2024 Columbus Oktoberfest.
Admission to the Columbus Oktoberfest Festival is FREE. Parking at the Ohio Expo Center is $15 per person.
*Participants must pick up their packet at Fleet Feet from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 or from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 to receive their Complimentary Parking Pass. Otherwise, parking is $15 per car.

Fleet Feet Sports Lewis Center will host Packet Pick Up for the Oktoberfest Meiler Vier. Fleet Feet Sports Lewis Center is at 1270 E. Powell Rd., Lewis Center 43035. Packet Pick Up will take place at Fleet Feet Sports from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 and from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday. Sept. 6.

Race Day Packet Pick Up will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Ohio Expo Center.
Participants must pick up their packet at Fleet Feet Lewis Center on Thursday or Friday to receive their Complimentary Parking Pass. Otherwise, parking is $12 per car.

Check the Weather Forecast
Please check your WBNS-10TV Weather Forecast to prepare yourself for Race Day.
Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event paying special attention to the possibility of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, high winds and extreme temperatures. If necessary, athletes will be made aware of these predictions on the event website so that participants can properly prepare for severe weather during the race as well as possible course alterations. Severe weather updates will also be sent to participants via email as necessary.
The Race Director and Medical Director will monitor the weather and make a decision if any action will be taken to modify the race. Possible changes include: altering the start time for the race or in extreme situations, cancellation of the event. Please listen closely to all public address announcements at the starting line of the race.
Visible lightning will cause the race to be postponed for a minimum of 30 minutes. Additional sightings will continue to delay the race in 30 minute increments.
If extreme heat is predicted, extra water will be provided to the athletes, both prior to, during and after the event. The medical team will be alerted that athletes may require additional medical attention during and after the event due to the high temperatures.
Flag Warning System
We have devised a flag warning system to communicate race conditions to participants on the course. Look for the color of the flag at each re-fueling station.
