Start your New Year off on the right foot with the annual OhioHealth First On The First 5K, the M3S Sports holiday event that combines a 5k Run/Walk with a traditional New Year's Day celebration. The 3.1-mile layout takes runners and walkers on tour of the area surrounding the Westerville Community Center. All participants will receive a technical race shirt and a finisher's medal. The third-annual downtown road race offers runners and walkers an active way to celebrate the winter season with the Blue Jackets. Participants will receive a Columbus Blue Jackets-themed official finisher's medal and a Columbus Blue Jackets-themed long-sleeve, gender-specific technical race shirt, and a voucher good for 2 tickets to a Columbus Blue Jackets game between March 3-April 2. The 2019 Finish On The Cruise Run / Walk will be held in Nassau, Bahamas on Wedmesday, February 27, 2019 when the Buckeye Cruise For Cancer visits Nassau. Join your fellow cruisers for a 3-mile or 1-mile run or walk. Each participant will receive an Official Buckeye Cruise For Cancer-themed Event Shirt and a Buckeye Cruise For Cancer-themed Official Finisher's Medal. The event features a four-mile course through the neighborhood around the beautiful Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club. The fully-supported course is open for 80 minutes to accommodate all runners and walkers. The Memorial Tournament and M3S Sports will team up to produce the FORE! Miler Presented By OhioHealth, a 4-mile road race that will kick off the Memorial Tournament festivities in Dublin. The FORE! The OhioHealth Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon features both a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and a Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles). The event, which begins and ends on Perimeter Drive just west of Avery Muirfield Drive in Dublin, is open to runners and walkers and benefits the Welcome Warehouse, a Dublin-based charity that provides opportunities, good and services to those in need. The Oktoberfest Meiler Vier is the four-mile run that is fast becoming as much a part of the Columbus Oktoberfest as beir gardens and polka. The Meiler Vier will once again kick start the Oktoberfest celebration by taking runners and walkers through a four-mile tour of the Ohio Expo Center. Afterwards, we will really get the party started, with each participant receiving a complimentary beer (Hacker-Pschor, Paulaner, Bittburger or Brooklyn Oktoberfest) and a sausage courtesy of Schmidt's Sausage Haus. The Friends of the JOSEPHINUM is sponsoring the “JOSEPHINUM 4-MILER RUN/WALK” and proceeds will be used for scholarships and the financial needs of Pontifical College Josephinum seminarians. Since 1984, “Friends of the Josephinum” has provided financial support to Josephinum seminarians, assisting with the cost of tuition, textbooks, clothing, medical care, dental care, eye care and emergency travel needs of the seminarians. Bring all your relatives, house guests, cooking buddies and little turkeys out for the Flying Feather Four Miler on Thanksgiving Day. We will be limiting the race to the first 4,000 participants to ensure the best race experience possible — register early so you don't miss out! All participants will receive a technical shirt, bottle of wine for the Thanksgiving Table (sparkling juice for participants under 21), hat and gloves, and a finisher's medal.
