The St. Patrick’s Day Four Miler has a New Home, a New Start Time and a HUGE post race party!

We are proud to announce that registration is now open for the St. Patrick’s Day Four Miler now at Kinsale Golf And Fitness Club on March 13th at 5pm.

This event is a huge celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and finishes in the middle of a big post race party featuring the Reganomics (www.reaganomics.com).

The Four Miler is for both runners and walkers and our course is open and fully supported for over 80 minutes. The entry fee includes a technical race shirt, a finishers medal, post race refreshments, pace groups, chip timing, a special beverage (an ice cold pop or beer), and a ticket to the concert ($8 value). Just be sure to wear some ‘green’!

Join us for a 13.1 or 3.1 mile block party…. Next year’s date will be May 1, 2010. The 7th Anniversary of this annual celebration of fitness in the City of Columbus promises to be the biggest and best one yet. The courses are unbelievable tours of downtown Columbus, and the finish line party in the parking lots of Nationwide Arena can’t be beat. The events are a celebration of athletes, young and old, fast and slow. This is a party you will not want to miss. The half marathon field is limited to the first 5,000 registrants and the 5k field is limited to the first 1500 registrants.2010 Registration is now open!

M3S celebrates Thanksgiving, Cinco De Mayo, St. Patrick’s Day and the Irish Festival, so, why not Oktoberfest? As you may have heard, Carla Epler, Geoff Schmidt and the rest of the team at Schmidt’s restaurant are rescuing Oktoberfest, and we wanted to help. I figured I could get 500 or so of my closest friends to join me for a Bahama Mama and a Cold Beer after a run, so here we go. M3S proudly announces that The Inaugural Oktoberfest Vier Meiler presented by Nationwide Insurance will take place Friday night September 25th at 6pm right around the Tapping of the Keg Celebration and will be limited to the first 500 participants. The event will be a 4 mile course that will start and finish at the Natural Resources/Commercial Pavilion at the Ohio Expo Center.

Who says Michael Jackson and his sparkly glove are gone forever? Bring him back to life in the Dead Celebrity 3 Miler! Come dressed as your favorite celebrity and join us for the fastest way to kick off your Halloween evening.

All participants will receive a technical race shirt, finisher’s medal and post race refreshments.

There are also prize packages for the best costumes. This is a costume event. We are looking for the most creative and most like a celebrity that has passed away in the last 12 months. Creativity and passion beat speed every time!

Come out and join us for a Central Ohio holiday tradition with the 2010 Holiday Run at Sharon Woods. Sharon Woods Metro Park is one of the nicest places to run and will showcase a very scenic 4 mile route. The course is runner friendly along with having a few challenging hills for that extra burn.
